You confirm that your dog:
Is current on required vaccinations
Inherent Outdoor Risks
While we prioritize prevention and structure, outdoor group activities naturally carry some risk. Minor scrapes, broken nails, or the occasional scuffle can happen in even well-managed environments.
By participating, you acknowledge and accept these inherent risks.
Veterinary Care
If your dog becomes ill or injured while in our care:
Dogs are transported in secure vehicles and managed thoughtfully during loading, unloading, and travel.
Payment & Scheduling
We love sharing the joy of the pack. By participating, you grant permission for your dog’s photo or video to be used on social media or marketing materials unless you opt out in writing.
Our Right to Maintain Pack Safety
For the well-being of all dogs and hikers, Hiking Hounds reserves the right to:
Services are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.

- Dogs participate in structured, supervised group hikes.
- Many hikes are off-leash in appropriate areas.
- Dogs are matched carefully based on temperament, energy level, and recall skills.
- Safety, good canine citizenship, and Leave No Trace principles guide every outing.
Health & Readiness
You confirm that your dog:
Is current on required vaccinations
- Is physically able to hike 3–5+ miles
- Is free of contagious illness
- Has disclosed any behavioral or medical concerns

While we prioritize prevention and structure, outdoor group activities naturally carry some risk. Minor scrapes, broken nails, or the occasional scuffle can happen in even well-managed environments.

Veterinary Care
If your dog becomes ill or injured while in our care:
- We will contact you immediately.
- If necessary, we will seek veterinary treatment in your dog’s best interest.
- All veterinary expenses remain the responsibility of the owner.

- Services are billed monthly unless otherwise arranged.
- Cancellation notice is required to avoid charges.
