Welcome to the pack!
 
 

I am happy to know that you have joined our social hiking club.  We provide structured on and off leash hikes, practice leave no trace, good trail etiquette and productive exercise for your pet.
When you first start with the pack, I will be your dogs’ guide, setting expectations and boundaries so that we can achieve good hiking order without impacting other trail users.

Hiking/Walking Process:

Trail:
We sit to leash, sit to get in the car, wait until called to exit the car at the trailhead, one at a time.  We walk on trail until we are focused and calm.  We sit to get off leash, and then we are hiking.  During our hike, we pull to the side and sit for other trail users.  Getting off trail, we leash up, walk calmly off trail and enter the car for a nap ride home.

Urban Walk:
We sit to leash, sit to get in the car, wait until called to exit the car at the start, one at a time.  We leash walk several minutes in a heel prior to being loose leash, then we purposefully walk on lead, for the rest of the hour.

Cleanliness:
We towel dry and spot brush your dog so that they are relatively clean and comfortable.  If you have a special place to keep your dog when wet, please let me know.

​Tools:
We use our own leashes, towels, and brushes. You supply a properly fitting collar with tags, harness & (if applicable) charged and working e-device.
